Electronic Arts (EA) was up to the 2008 merger between Vivendi Games and made Activision the world's largest publisher and developer of computer and video games. EA is published primarily known for its sports games, but also numerous other titles. With annual sales of about three billion dollars, the company has a market share of about 25 percent in the North American and European markets. Electronic Arts was founded by Trip Hawkins in Redwood City in the United States Eletronic Arts has distributed Studios all over the world, for example in China, Germany, India or Japan.
