Do you know Suzanne Collins?

Suzanne Collins (1962, New Jersey) writes children's books and books for young readers.
She lives in Connecticut with her husband and her two children. 1991, she started to write
scripts for TV. Her first book is the first of a series, 'Gregor the Overlander'.
It's about Gregor and his sister. They get to the "Unterland". September 2008 she published
'The Hungergames', the first of a trilogy. The second was published in 2009 and the third in 2010.

When she was young her mother helped her to write books. Later she worked in Paris for one year,
as an English teacher.
Her best known books are the books about Harry Potter and his friends.
They're pupils for magician in Hogwards.
There are films about Harry Potter (1-7) as well. The first was published in 2001.

He was in a band, the band consisted of other authors. He wrote the book 'Carrie' in a caravan. He didn't like it, so he put in the dustbin.
But his wife found it and gave it to a publisher.
Know he lives in a big house.

She's living in Arizona with her husband and her three sons. Christianity is her Religion.
She is very famous! Her best known books are the books of the series 'Twilight'. The books are called:

2. 'Newmoon' (film:2009)
3. 'Eclipse' (film:2010)
4. 'Breaking Dawn' (first part, film:2011)

He's born 24th August 1977 in Orlando(Florida).
He studied Englisch and religion.
John Green worked as a chaplain in a hospital.
His famous books are Looking for Alaska,
Paper Towns and many other books. Looking
for Alaska is called Eine
wie Alaska in German, Paper Towns is called Margos
Spuren. He won many prices like the corine and
the Micheal L. Printz Award.

Her firs and best known books are 'Unter der Geisterbahn' and 'Verbotene Welt'.
Her book 'Whisper' is famous too.

He was born in 03/ January 1892 (Bloemfontein, Oranje-Freistaat)
and died in 02/ September 1973 (Bournemouth, England)
He has written the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit.
He was very famous and important in the Fantasy-World.
The Lord of the Rings was published in 1969/1970.
The film for the Lord of the Rings is very exciting too.
The film adaption of ´The Hobbit` will start in the cinamas this year.(13/12/2012).
